ทำความรู้จักโอโซน
โอโซน (Ozone) คือโมเลกุลของออกซิเจน 3 อะตอม ที่เกิดจากการแตกตัวของออกซิเจน (O2) ซึ่งมีอยู่ทั่วไปในอากาศ โดยมีแสงอัลตราไวโอเลต (UV) เป็นตัวกระตุ้น เรียกอีกอย่างว่า “ออกซิเจนที่มีพลัง (Active Oxygen)”
โอโซนสามารถทำปฏิกิริยาออกซิเดชัน (Oxidation) กับสารอินทรีย์ และสารอนินทรีย์ได้เกือบทุกชนิด ทั้งในน้ำและอากาศ ทั้งยังสามารถฆ่าเชื้อโรคได้อย่างรวดเร็ว โดยเฉพาะเชื้อแบคทีเรีย โดยการเข้าไปจับโมเลกุล และย่อยสลายสารปนเปื้อนด้วยวิธีการเปลี่ยนโครงสร้างของสารนั้น และยังสามารถทำลายกลิ่น สารเคมี และก๊าซพิษได้ดีเยี่ยม โดยไม่ทิ้งสารตกค้างใดๆ นอกจากออกซิเจน จึงไม่เป็นอันตรายหรือส่งผลกระทบใดๆต่อมนุษย์ สัตว์ และสิ่งแวดล้อม
